Synopsis:

It is time for the town's annual Lottery drawing. Who will get it this time? Why are some town folks against this annual tradition?
Roles: 6 Men – Ages 19 - 80, 5 Women – Ages 25 - 50, 2 Boys – Ages 8 – 12, 1 Boy – Age 6 – 7 – Non speaking role, 1 Girl – Age 8 – 12 – Non speaking role, Villagers – All ages – Non speaking role Rehearsals: 1 or 2 nights a week, starting in January, 2012

Sorry, Wrong Number

Synopsis:

A mystery thriller, the tale of a neurotic, bed ridden invalid whose main connection to the outside world is her telephone. When telephone lines get crossed, she hears murder plans - but whose murder?
Roles: 7 women, 4 men - some doubling of roles is possible—Mrs. Stevenson - 40 - 50s, Sergeant Duffy - 40s, Lunch Room Attendant - 20s, 1st, 2nd Man - 30s-50s, Operators/Receptionist/Western Union/Information - 20s - up Rehearsals: Weeknights Monday-Thursday, 1 or 2 nights a week beginning in January 2012.

The Problem

Synopsis:

One afternoon, the wife reveals to her husband she is pregnant. How could it have happened and what to do about "The Problem" is funny and surprising.
Roles: 1 Male 30s – clean cut and professional,1 Female 30s – carefree confident Rehearsals: To be determined by availability of cast but are to likely start in late January on a 1 night a week basis increasing as needed or as we get closer to production.

Audition Time and Place for all 3 plays:

November 7 – 8, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, in the Teen Room at the Amato Performing Arts Center, 56 Mont Vernon St, Milford NH. No appointments required, but please arrive before 9:00pm. If you cannot be there on either Monday or Tuesday, please contact one of the directors by email. Requirements: Be prepared for cold readings from the script.. 1-2 minute comedy or drama monologue is welcome, but is not required. Actors can audition for and be in more than one play.
